Malaga is the largest city on the southern coast of Spain, also known as “Costa del Sol”. It is one of those privileged places that have mountains (the Sierra de Mijas) and coast at the same time. Nothing like going down with the sea views in the background.
The climate of Malaga is typical of the Mediterranean, characterized by mild temperatures and lack of rainfall, even in winter. In fact, it is one of the places with more sunny days per year in Spain
Trails
The areas closest to the coast, Mijas and Benalmádena, are characterized by natural descents, with rock gardens and loose soil. But undoubtedly, the most striking of these trails are their views. Riding your bike down the mountain with the sea as a backdrop is a unique experience.
In the town of Alhaurín de la Torre is located what was once a limestone quarry, which is now abandoned and has become a mini bike park. Short descents but very well used, fun and well maintained, with camber and a multitude of jumps.
The area of El Chorro is characterized by El Caminito del Rey, the famous walkway for hikers built into the walls of the Gaitanes Gorge. The place is not only an enclave for hiking or climbing. It has several of the most fun bike descents in Spain. Narrow and very fast trails from start to finish

Trip
The trip starts by picking you up at the airport. Malaga has an international airport located just an hour away from where we will stay, but we can also pick you up at the airport or at any hotel in Madrid, where we are based.
From there we will transfer you to the hotel, where we will stay during our trip, located in El Chorro. We always select those hotels more specifically prepared to receive bicycles. All the accommodations we select for our trips have a safe place to store the bicycles, hose, basic tools…
Of course, during the day we will take you to see the best trails in the area in our van with a bike trailer. Open bar of ski lifts, as much as your strength can take!
In the evenings we will take you to any restaurant where you want to have dinner if you wish and, finally, at the end of the tour, we will drop you off at the airport or hotel

Day 1 – Thursday: • Arrival in Antequera
• Afternoon in Villanueva del Rosario.
Day 2 – Friday: • Full day in Villanueva del Rosario.
Day 3 – Saturday: • Full day in El Chorro.
Day 4 – Sunday: • Half day in El Chorro.
