Faro de Budiño, despite its name (which means “lighthouse”), has no actual lighthouse and isn’t on the coast, but it’s a stunning place to ride Enduro Mountain Bike in Galicia. The Budiño trails offer a mix of varied terrain, from wooded areas to rocky sections, ideal for mountain bike lovers. Ponteareas

Xiabre and A Fracha
In the O Salnés region, in the province of Pontevedra, you’ll find Xiabre and A Fracha, which offer exciting challenges for Enduro Mountain Bike enthusiasts. Xiabre is known for its technical trails and fast descents, while A Fracha offers a combination of natural scenery and well-designed routes. Both places give you the chance to put your riding skills to the test in a spectacular setting.
Galicia Enduro Trip Itinerary (4 days)
Day 1 – Thursday: Arrival and First Descents
- 14:00 – Arrival at Vigo airport (optional) or meeting point in Madrid for the transfer to Galicia.
- 16:00 – Shuttle lifts and first routes at Monteferro, with its stunning Atlantic views and challenging technical descents.
- 19:00 – Dinner and rest at a rural lodge or hotel with all the amenities cyclists need.
Day 2 – Friday: Faro de Budiño and Ponteareas
- 9:00 – Shuttle lifts at Faro de Budiño, a route combining history, nature and panoramic ocean views. The technical trails and rocky sections will put you to the test.
- 13:00 – Lunch on the trail and on to Ponteareas, with its varied trails suited to every level. You’ll enjoy vertigo-inducing descents in a unique natural setting.
Day 3 – Saturday: Xiabre and A Fracha
- 9:00 – Full day at Bike Park A Fracha, one of the destinations with the most flow in Galicia, ideal for the most experienced riders. Here you’ll face fast descents and trails full of flow, surrounded by spectacular scenery.
- 13:00 – Picnic in nature, followed by more descents in the afternoon.
Day 4 – Sunday: Final Descents and Return
- 9:00 – Final shuttle lifts and descents at XIABRE, making the most of the last hours of enduro in Galicia.
- 14:00 – Lunch and return to Madrid or transfer to Vigo airport.
