LA RIOJA
La Rioja is a province and autonomous community in northern Spain, famous for its wine industry.
With more than 600 wineries and 14,000 winegrowers, it can boast the largest number of wine barrels in the world.
Despite not being a very large territory, La Rioja is not only known for its designation of origin. Along the way, we can discover a rich historical and gastronomic culture.

Itinerary
Day 1
- 09:30: Pickup in Madrid.
- 12:30: Arrival in Burgos.
- Visit to Burgos Cathedral.
- Tapas in the centre of Burgos.
- 14:30: Arrival at destination (Ábalos, Rioja Alavesa).
- Afternoon: Bike route through the vineyards (approximately 20 km, easy route).
- Dinner: Villa de Ábalos.
Day 2
- Morning: Route through La Rioja, visiting dolmens and the Ysios winery.
- Visit to the Ysios winery: https://www.bodegasysios.com.
- Lunch: Picnic in the area.
- Afternoon: Visit to La Guardia, stroll through the historic centre.
- Dinner: Mayor de Migueloa in La Guardia.
Day 3
- Morning: Route through vineyards.
- Visit to Bodega Baigorri (to be confirmed): https://bodegasbaigorri.com.
- Lunch: At the Baigorri winery (to be confirmed).
- Dinner: Dinner at Marqués de Riscal (to be confirmed).
Day 4
- Morning: Camino de Santiago stage: Logroño – Nájera.
- End of trip: Return to Madrid.
