Itinerary

Day 1: Orleans – Muides-sur-Loire (55 km)

The trip begins in the historic city of Orleans, famous for Joan of Arc. We’ll ride along the banks of the Loire to Muides-sur-Loire, where we’ll get close to the imposing Château de Chambord.

Day 2: Muides-sur-Loire – Chaumont-sur-Loire (60 km)

Scenic route through small villages and open fields to Chaumont-sur-Loire, where we’ll visit its castle with impressive views of the river.

Day 3: Chaumont-sur-Loire – Tours (52 km)

We’ll ride along the riverbank to the vibrant city of Tours. Along the way, we’ll stop in Amboise to visit the castle where the remains of Leonardo da Vinci rest.

Day 4: Tours – Rigny-Ussé (55 km)

We’ll head into the French countryside to reach Rigny-Ussé, home to the castle that inspired “Sleeping Beauty”.

Day 5: Rigny-Ussé – Saumur (58 km)

Route through vineyards and wineries to the city of Saumur, known for its imposing castle and equestrian tradition.

Day 6: Saumur – Angers (62 km)

Ride towards Angers, with a visit to the medieval fortress and its famous Apocalypse Tapestry.

Day 7: Angers – Saint-Florent-le-Vieil (57 km)

We head into the Pays de la Loire region, cycling along quiet rural roads to Saint-Florent-le-Vieil, a hidden gem of the route.

Day 8: Saint-Florent-le-Vieil – Nantes (62 km)

Final stage to the vibrant city of Nantes, with its Château des Ducs de Bretagne and its cultural atmosphere.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

To confirm the trip booking, payment will be made in three instalments:

• 25% at the time of booking.
• 50% due 2 months before the trip.
• Final 25% due during the last month before departure.

Cancellation Policy

• Up to 60 days before the trip: full refund of amounts paid.
• Between 59 and 31 days before: 50% refund.
• With less than 30 days before the trip: no refunds will be issued.
