Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Florence
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, a welcome walk with a local guide through the heart of Florence: Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, Giotto’s Campanile, and the Ponte Vecchio. Traditional dinner at a historic trattoria in the center.

Day 2: Florence – Art and Renaissance
Guided visit to the Duomo complex, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Option to enter the Uffizi Gallery or the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s David. Free afternoon to explore museums, shops, or charming cafés. Optional dinner with views of the Arno River.

Day 3: Florence – Pisa – Lucca
Departure by private vehicle to Pisa. Guided visit to the Square of Miracles, the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, and the Baptistery. Continue to Lucca, a walled town of medieval origin, ideal for a peaceful stroll. Overnight in a charming noble house or Tuscan villa.

Day 4: Tuscany Route – San Gimignano – Siena
Full day exploring the Tuscan countryside. Stop in San Gimignano, known as “medieval Manhattan”, with its stone towers and cobbled streets. Lunch at a winery with wine tasting and local products. In the afternoon, visit Siena: Piazza del Campo, the Cathedral, and its historic districts. Overnight at a rural hotel or villa.

Day 5: Tuscany – Orcia Valley – Rome
Panoramic route through the Orcia Valley, with stops in iconic towns such as Montalcino, Pienza, or Montepulciano. Postcard landscapes, Brunello wine tastings, and artisan cheeses. Arrival in Rome in the afternoon and overnight at a boutique hotel near the historic center.

Day 6: Eternal Rome
Guided visit to the main treasures of Rome: Colosseum, Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. Free time to stroll through Trastevere or go shopping. Farewell dinner at a classic Roman restaurant.

Day 7: Vatican and Departure
In the morning, guided visit to the Vatican: Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Private transfer to the airport. End of the trip and farewell from the MTB Spain team.
